Giraffe Spotter

The Giraffe Conservation Foundation(GCF) had a need to collect more data for research and drive donations, which gave birth to Giraffe Spotter App. Using the App, Tourists and tour guides are able to take pictures of giraffes across different geographical regions, identify the giraffe species, and also where the giraffe was last located among other features, from the picture taken. The app provides a directory of giraffe information that can be used to match a giraffe profile to the pictures taken on the app. Donations and also the adoption of giraffes can be done via Giraffe Spotter.

We built the Giraffe Spotter App using Flutter and is available in both Google Play Store and Apple Store. We also developed the admin backend system to manage data and functionality using Laravel which closely communicates with the Giraffe Spotter backend provided by Wildme through the Wildme Software
